Hello Dear Ones…
I have spoken about Birth for many years,
starting with my own two births at home when I was 35 and 37 years old.
I’ve said what I have to say about undisturbed birth and how birth, when approached organically and authentically, can be truly exciting and profoundly transformative and a relatively complication-free experience.
Now, as I approach my 80th year it is Death that captivates me.
For a while now I have been courting my death and dancing
with my mortality.
I feel the call of another deep and profound reality and I’m preparing for my death much like I prepared for my births.
Yes, we can orchestrate our deaths.
My thoughts about death are akin to finding a treasure
waiting to be opened.
There is nothing maudlin or fearful, just curiosity
and a sense of completion.
And just like birth there may be pain or fear, but I don’t think so.
And like birth, death is many things to many people.
Not everyone shares an overarching gratitude for life or a desire for an experience of conscious death.
But if you do, and would like to share this journey with me, I’m extending an invitation for you to come along and explore with me.
We'll leave the mundane world and see what is there, waiting in the dark.
The Wisdom of the Wheel
Over the years people have asked me if I have any
affiliations with a particular religion or belief system.
My answer for myself is Gratitude.
I am grateful for all the ways that exist to express gratitude on this planet.
But, my Soul finds its best expression
in the great Cathedral of Nature.
My personal relationship with this world is connection with the natural rhythms of the planet and the natural alignment of the yearly cycles.
I’ve always had a leaning toward the forest. That’s where I go
when I need to listen and return to alignment.
I like to follow the flow of every single day so I look to the Wheel of Life as a map where everything has its seasons and how those seasons tune
us into being at one with the earth.
This comes from the Celtic agricultural cycles and you may be familiar with the Farmers Almanac which contains Calendars, Gardening times, Weather, Planting schedules, Tide tables and Articles of FolkLore.
This Wheel has existed for eons – year after year, after year.

HERE'S A BIT OF THE BACKGROUND
There are four Seasons – Death, Rebirth, Fertility, Harvest
and then it revolves again.
The year starts with the Season of DEATH.
October 31st, also called Halloween or Samhain by the Celtic people.
Around the Wheel we have 8 major days of celebration of the Earth Cycle..
Winter Solstice
Spring Equinox
Summer Solstice
Fall Equinox
These are points on the compass…
and we have four other points called cross-quarter days.
Samhain
Imbolc
Beltane
Lammas
If you are not familiar with the Wheel I will offer a class on this topic so you will understand the meaning of the points on the Earth cycles.
Meanwhile, we will start our journey on the evening of Friday, October 31st
in the Death of night.
From that day on we will descend into the complete darkness
of the Winter Solstice on December 21st and return back out to the
light again by the time of Imbolc, February 1st.
Imbolc signals the half-way point between the deep darkness of Winter
Solstice and Spring Equinox promise of Spring.
This is the structure of how our three months unfold.
November, December and January
WE WILL MEET THE DARK
We speak of Enlightenment but what about our Endarkenment.
We are comfortable in the Light but we must be equally
comfortable in the darkness.
These three months, November, December, January will take us deep.
We will speak together about Death, Sexuality and how the dark
reflects the Light and how the Dark really isn’t dark.
We can shift organ failure on the planet.
We can facilitate the DEATH of all things.
Yes, Death is the place to end and to begin again.
As for me, I am in my golden years, which at some point, sooner than later, where I will meet Death.
I am preparing, and your company has been requested.
Let’s talk about how we could prepare death for ourselves or others.

We are meeting twice a week,
Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm on Zoom
We also meet one weekend each month, Saturday and Sunday,
six hours each day.
We do not meet on Holiday weeks.

CREATE RITUALS AND CELEBRATIONS:
For your life and that of your family.
LIGHTING THE CAULDRON:
Burning off what does not go into the Light.
Shedding light on what will be seeded in the Dark.
Death will find you and Death will bless you and unburden you.

This is a time for listening and being listened to.
When I have offered classes in the past it is usually a four-day intensive
with no time for processing.
In this three month journey we will connect and process
and have lots of time to go deeper together.
I’ll give you lots of suggestions. You give me lots too.
Now is our time to die and let the leaves fall from the trees.
