The Quantum Doula Cohort is a live, immersive 3-month training led by Elder Midwife Whapio ~ one of the most respected voices in holistic birth work, with over four decades guiding families through the sacred, undisturbed nature of birth and training thousands of students around the world ~ Alongside mentorship from Coté Garceau, an experienced holistic doula and childbirth educator who serves as Whapio's trusted assistant and a Matrona teacher, bringing over 400 births of hands-on experience to help you build the practice, the presence, and the business that supports your calling

Program Structure
The Journey
~ The Living Teaching (October 3 – December 20, 2026)
We open with Orientation & Welcome Call on September 30: a chance to meet your cohort, your teachers, and the platforms you'll be using before the work begins.
Then Whapio teaches six full weekend intensives. Twice a month, Saturday and Sunday, 5 hours a day of transformational teachings.
Coté meets the cohort every other week on Wednesday evenings for 3 hrs of hands-on mentorship calls. Bringing over 400 births of experience, every call weaves in practical, hands-on skills for serving as a birth and postpartum doula ~ business, herbs, rebozo, and ritual all move through the program alongside the teaching. By the time these three months close, you'll carry the added skills to serve birth with real depth and clarity, and to shape a practice, and offerings, that are your own: heart-centered, and genuinely profitable.
All classes are recorded: Every live session ~ each of Whapio's weekend intensives and every one of Coté's mentorship calls ~ is recorded, so you can revisit anything anytime and stay fully on pace even if life pulls you away from a live call.

Live Teaching: 60 hours of live foundational teaching with Elder Midwife Whapio — twice a month, weekend intensives, Saturday + Sunday, 5 hours a day

Mentorship, Start to Finish: Live mentorship calls with Coté across the three months - 3 hrs every other week, on Wednesday evening, timed around the holidays, and meeting on Tuesdays during Thanksgiving week.

Ready for More? ~ The Deepening
When these three months close, some of you will want to keep going. The Deepening is Whapio's advanced Wisdom-Keeping program — three months, February to April 2027, two weekends a month, moving through her lifetime video vault and live teaching. Combine it with this Cohort and you graduate with three advanced credentials: Advanced Holistic Doula, Holistic Childbirth Educator, and Professional Childbirth Consultant..

Six Live Mentorship Calls with Cote
During the 3 months of the program, you'll meet with Coté every other Wednesday evening ~ with the exception of holiday weeks, when calls shift to Tuesday ~ for 3 hours of mentorship dedicated to integrating Whapio's teachings into your own hands, voice, and practice.
Through the 3 months, we'll discuss topics like building your doula services, platforms, contracts, prenatal visits, working with herbs, rituals, and community support, among others.

For decades, Elder Midwife Whapio has been one of the most respected voices in the holistic birth world — a teacher, visionary, and pioneer who has devoted her life to understanding birth as the profound, transformative experience it truly is.
She has trained thousands of holistic doulas and midwives. Her work in quantum birth has reached women across the globe and drawn students from every corner of the world into her online classes and live intensives.
Whapio does not just teach birth. She changes the way you see it — and through it, the way you see yourself.
Her philosophy lives at the heart of The Matrona: that birth is a sacred, altered state of consciousness, that the body knows what to do when it is trusted, and that the doula who holds that space carries one of the most important roles in a family's story.
Coté
Holistic Doula and Mentor
Holistic Doula and childbirth educator with over 400 births of experience, with a focus on natural birth.
Originally from Chile, Coté brings her South American roots into her teaching, alongside her work as an herbalist and a placenta artist & encapsulator. For years, Coté has served families across Chicagoland offering holistic birth support and childbirth education. She is also Whapio's assistant and a Matrona teacher, holding the mentorship thread from the first week to the last — supporting students in integrating
Whapio's teachings, building their doula practice, exploring herbs and rituals, and stepping confidently into their calling.
