A Monitrice holds a unique role ~ standing at the threshold between holistic support and clinical understanding. To truly serve families with wisdom and confidence, we must understand both the possibilities of modern medicine and the depth of holistic alternatives.
Families today are met with so many options during their pregnancy and birth. Instead of getting true informed consent they are met with pressure and fear mongering.
Jess will use her 10 years of experience as a labor and delivery nurse to help you understand if an intervention is truly needed or just a license protecting soft call.
We will go from prenatal testing to postpartum. You will understand what the provider is thinking, what modern interventions are available (and their risks and benefits), as well as holistic options.
