Each student will receive over 700 pages of notes and handouts. These handouts will be divided into seven sections and will encompass:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Prenatal Care
- Labor and Birth
- Postpartum and The Newborn
- Homeopathy
- Mediation and Counseling
- Qigong, Acupressure, and Sexual Wisdom
This will comprise the majority of reading material for the midwifery program.

During our time together you will have access to numerous videos, DVD's, and audio tape sets. Most of the tape sets are from various midwifery conferences, and offer you the opportunity to hear popular midwifery teachers speaking on all aspects of birth and childbearing. We will also see approximately 70 births on video/DVD, and will discuss each of these in class.
