The 2012 Holistic Midwifery Immersion will take place in Asheville, North Carolina.
Our 450 hour program will run for 5 months...February through June.
Class hours are:
Tuesday through Friday...9:30 to 1 pm
And every other weekend...
Saturday - 9:30 to 5:30
Sunday - 9:30 to 1 pm
Monday always off.
Start date is Tuesday, January 31st with an Orientation.
End date is Saturday, June 30th with Graduation.
Weekends are:
February 4th - 5th, February 18th - 19th, March 3rd - 4th, March 17th - 18th, March 31st - April 1st, April 14th - 15th, May 5th - 6th, May 19th - 20th, June 2nd - 3rd, June 16th - 17th
Spring Break - April 21st - April 30th
Friday, June 29th is a full day - 9:30 to 5:30
Graduation - June 30th
Cost of the program is $4200 and students will receive an Associates Degree in Holistic Midwifery from The Matrona.
This is an Immersion Program during which we spend numerous hours together and create a continuum of learning, sharing and experience. Our classroom becomes our lab and coming together frequently allows us to review material continuously and receive knowledge in a way that it is remembered and utilized. It also provides an opportunity for a profound experience of bonding...much like that of midwife and mother...and offers an experience that you will cherish for life.
