The Matrona programs are directed by Whapio Diane Bartlett. Whapio has been an Independent Midwife for 26 years, attending women and families in birth and educating women in the Arts of Midwifery and Healing. She also teaches Homeopathy and is affiliated with HANA (Hahnemann Academy of North America). Whapio has studied homeopathy and Qigong with Robin Murphy, ND for over 20 years. She has also studied healing at The Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Beijing Massage Hospital in China. Whapio is a Community Mediator and counselor for family concerns. She speaks and writes frequently about Quantuum Midwifery and Returning Birth to the Family.

Jaydee has been working in the realms of childbirth for the past 12 years, and with The Matrona directly since 2007. Jaydee is a graduate of the Midwifery Immersion program, a past participant in a Peruvian Journey, and is now returning to promote and encourage the future of The Matrona.

Tolewa has been serving the Atlanta community as a midwife since 2004. As a whole health provider, she specializes in homeopathy, herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, and mediation. She is also the co-founder of Mamatoto Childbirth Alliance and a graduate of The Matrona's midwifery program.
