OUR PATH OF STUDY

BLOOD

On October 1st, we sit on the steps of Machu Picchu and speak of Women's Mysteries.  As the Ancestral sex, women have always had within them the
complete components of genetic material to create life.  The ovum has 46 chromosomes -- not the 23 we've been taught.  This is anatomy fact, not fiction.  We impart factual knowledge, relevant to the balance of power and the
sustenance of life.  This information has been shared very briefly through
the scientific community and now we discuss the spiritual and psychological
impact of this knowledge of the female body.  Explore why we are the Ancestral
sex, and what ramifications this has for humanity.  We study menstruation, conception, and fertilization as never before -- in a way that brings reverence to woman and mankind together.

BIRTH

The next day again finds us in Machu Picchu at the Temple of the Moon.  We study birth and altered states.  We stand at the Gate of Life.  We inhabit the birthing chamber.  We spiral from Maiden to Mother to Midwife.  What does it mean to be Midwife?  Who do we serve?  How do we reinvent this ancient vocation in modern practice?  We shall see.  We pay respect to Wiracocha, feminine creatrix of the Universe, and ask to carry the charge of Midwife and see beyond ourselves.
BECOMING

A day of respect for the Matriarch.  We honor the
coming into Eldership, and begin our preparation for
that time.  We study rank and power and privilege.  As
we transform, we learn to hold the center for group transformation.  We study conflict resolution and worldwork.  We visit the realms of intuition and learn
to send our visions to the edge.  We balance the power
of the center and the edge.

PILGRIMAGE

Today we ascend to the summit of Huayna Picchu.  In silence, we trek to the top of the mountain where a tiny stone shelter awaits us, and the great mountain maze unfolds before us.  In the clouds, we find the gifts of awareness and revelation.
REST AND REFLECTION

Our last day in Aguas Calientes is one of gratitude and humility for the
blessings bestowed upon us.  It is a day of weaving stories, blessing each other
and reflecting on this passage through the mountain gates.  We will visit the Hot
Springs and then, under the Full Moon, we exchange gifts with each other and
the Earth.
BONES

On the day of our last voyage to Machu Picchu, we honor the mystery
of completion.  Death and dying, rebirth and resurrection.  We make
our choices and take our vows, witnessed by each other and the great mountains who have held us close.  We descend the mountain as
Changing Women, graced and gifted by earth and time, understanding
the mysteries of the Wheel, the Grid, the Great Motion.  We leave our
bones, only to begin again.
EMBARKATION

This day, we prepare sacred medicine together and, as evening falls, we create Sacred Ritual with mystical plants.  The plants teach us to see our universe in ways we only imagine.  We
venture into the Other Worlds, Los Otros Mundos, alone
together, to consecrate our journey and to create our alliance
with the Great Mystery.  We visit the Center and the Edge,
and receive the charge to BE THE MEDICINE.
We leave for Cusco the next morning -- October 8th.  We spend a day in Cusco, then depart for home on the 10th.
